Does the Annual Return differ depending on a company’s trading status?

ar01Not really. The annual return for a trading company would be almost exactly the same as a return for a dormant company. The only differences could be:

• A trading company could not use sic code 99999 (dormant company code)
• A dormant company must answer “No” to the “Traded On Regulated Market” question, a trading company could answer “Yes”

And that’s it!
