Post Limited Company Registration: What does “Registered In” mean?

registered officeAfter forming a UK limited company you may notice that our company admin system (login and click on your company name) has a field entitled “Registered In”. Obviously this means the country where the company was formed but there are some things worth noting:

• A company registered with a registered office based in England will show up as registered in England and Wales

• A company registered with a registered office based in Wales will show up as registered in England and Wales

• A company registered with a registered office based in Scotland will show up as registered in Scotland

• A company registered with a registered office based in Northern Ireland will show up as registered in Northern Ireland
