RIP 4-Digit SIC Code
Way back in October last year we blogged about four and five digit SIC codes (Standard Industrial Classification codes) in one of our better titled posts, “Fully Sic”. The gist of it was that when preparing the annual return Companies House required four digit codes for returns made up before October 2011 and five digit codes for those prepared after. Now there’s an update…
Companies House no longer accept the four digit code, returns prepared with four digit codes will be rejected. We have updated our DIY annual return service so that it only includes a link to the new codes.
