What does ‘Active’ mean in the ‘Company Status’ field?
If you log in at Companies MadeSimple and go to your limited company’s company admin page, you’ll see a field dedicated to the ‘Company Status’ that will most likely be populated with this message: ‘Active’.
So what does the ‘Active’ message represent?
All it means is that the company has been formed and has not been dissolved. It has nothing to do with the company’s trading status; therefore there’s no need to be alarmed if your company is dormant – the ‘active’ message is still relevant.
