Can the registered office and service address be the same?

The registered office is a UK limited company’s official address whilst the service address is a UK limited company director’s official address. But is it ok to use the same address as both the registered office and service address?

The answer is, yes. There is no problem in using the same address as the registered office and service address just as long as you have permission from the landlord to do so. Both of the addresses are on the public register. Because of this many people opt not to use their residential address and use an alternative address instead.

Did you know that we offer both a registered office service and director’s service address service?

For just £79.99 you can use our address (20 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU) as your company’s registered office and you can use it as your service address too. Our location is minutes from Old Street Tube, right in the middle of ‘Tech City’ aka ‘Silicon Roundabout’ – it’s the ideal place to base your business!
