Company Dissolution

The process of striking a company off the Companies House register and winding up the company's affairs.

Dissolution can be voluntary (if the company is no longer required) or involuntary (initiated through the courts by a creditor or state.)

Once a company has been dissolved, it can be restored (within twenty years from the date it was dissolved) by the courts should there be reasonable grounds to do so.
