How it works

Once you have completed your incorporation, MadeSimple will automatically forward your contact details to TSB and you will be emailed a link to the TSB application process. Before you start your application online, you'll find it useful to have the following information to hand. TSB will ask you to upload this to your application:

  • Applicant(s) details - Details for all individuals named in the application (full names, date of birth, nationality, 3 years' address history, proof of current address and ID).
  • Information about your business - What your business does, projected turnover, set up costs, trading premises details.
  • Credit check - You’ll need to let all parties involved in the application know that TSB do a credit check.

TSB will ask you to download, print and sign the account mandate. This tells TSB who can use your account. You can then upload the account mandate to your online application. If you prefer, you can return your account mandate and any other documentation to a TSB branch or to TSB by post. If TSB need a bit more information they’ll let you know.

Terms and Conditions

Once TSB have everything they need to open your TSB Business Current Account, they'll send you a welcome letter to let you know when your account has been opened and you're ready to go. Account opening subject to approval. Terms and conditions apply.

Once TSB confirms to you that your bank account has been opened, you then need to complete our cash back form and we, MadeSimple will then transfer the cash back to you. Apply for your cash back (login required).

Cash back only applies to UK customers who form their company (limited by shares) through MadeSimple and open a TSB Business Current Account. Customers must use MadeSimple's referral system to send their details to TSB. Business Current Accounts opened without using our referral system are not entitled to the cash back offer. Cash back will be transferred into your account once you have filled in the cash back form and we have verified the details with TSB. A TSB Business Current Account must be opened within 90 days of opting in to the offer. Cash back must be claimed within 45 days of the Business Current Account being opened. You must use the online cash back form (NB. You must log in to access this page) to apply for your cash back. The amount payable is based on the cash back amount offered on the formation package on the date of purchase. TSB will pay a fee for referrals generated by MadeSimple that lead to an opened Business Current Account.
